Miguel's Basketball Chronicles - A "Streetruns" Documentary

December 30, 2008
San Francisco, California

If someone were to ask me "why do you love being a photographer" I would most certainly reference the following project as one of the reasons why I love my job!

I don't know much about basketball, outside of the fact that the ball goes inside of the hoop, yet I was able to team up with long time friend, actor and director Miguel Coleman for this amazing assignment.

I shadowed Miguel as he chronicled Bay Area players and assessed the needs of aging courts in preparation of his upcoming documentary and interactive site "Streetruns."

I learned a lot and had a great time exploring a topic that I most likely never would have pursued on my own. Kudos to Miguel for including me and allowing me to put my creative twist on this project! It was an AWESOME experience and was a killer way to close out 2008!!!
